New ✨
New editing tools for Trint mobile app
As we continue to align the features between Trint’s web and mobile app, users can now make use of highlight and strikethrough tools when reviewing transcripts on mobile. Just tap the “edit” pencil icon and make use of the new toolbar along the bottom of your mobile screen.
Quick action to start Mobile Live transcriptions
The Trint mobile app now offers an updated feature that allows users to access Mobile Live transcriptions much faster. To use this feature, simply long-press the Trint mobile app icon on your device and select the action that you require. This helps users to start transcribing content on the go, without having to navigate through multiple menus or settings.

Faster loading times for the Trint mobile app
We have completely revamped the Trint mobile app's startup process, ensuring a smoother experience for all users. This was made by consolidating all services into a single component and implementing a listener to trigger the correct flow upon login events.

Trint now has a seamless integration with leading news production management system AP ENPS. Easily transcribe audio and video, view transcripts and search for key quotes with Trint – all at the click of a button and within your AP ENPS platform. Learn more here.

Fixed access rights for the commenters
Trint now automatically checks the mentioned person’s rights in the workspace. This will prevent users from being assigned the wrong roles which causes restrictions on editing transcriptions.

New editor settings for Trint mobile app
We’ve added a new section to the ‘Settings’ menu of the Trint mobile app that will allow users to change some features of the mobile transcript Editor. At this initial stage, we have added the ability to control if speaker names and timecodes are included when you copy and paste transcript text.
More languages added to Trint’s upload API
It now has Bashkir, Belarusian, Welsh, Estonian, Basque, Galician, Mongolian, Marathi, Tamil, Thai, Uyghur, and Vietnamese.

‘Add to story’ feature for archived Shared Drives
We’ve fixed the possibility where Story quotes might not be added from transcripts if they are stored in an archived Shared Drive. This update should allow users to have this functionality along with full search features to find key moments across their transcripts.

Accessibility changes to our keyboard shortcuts
Beginning 7 May, Trint will be discontinuing two keyboard shortcut options:
Play/Pause with be changed from [Tab] to [Ctrl]+[Space]
Rewind 5 seconds with be changed from [`] to [Ctrl]+[R]
This decision was made to ensure accessibility for all our users across the platform and align with universal accessibility standards that users will be familiar with.
