New ✨
Indexed search for Stories and live transcriptions
Trint’s powerful search functionality has been expanded to include Stories and Realtime and Mobile Live transcriptions – allowing users to search for both quotes and file names to easily find the moments that matter.
Improved 👩🔬
Mobile Live now available in Ukrainian
Enterprise users can now capture audio on the Trint mobile app and transcribe live into Ukrainian.
Change access permissions on mobile
Trint users can now edit the access permissions for collaborators by opening the transcript on the Trint mobile app.
Trint Editor allows more copy and paste
To keep transcript text in sync with the source timecode, the Trint Editor only allows two words to be pasted into a transcript at any one time. After listening to our users, this limit has been increased to 20 to keep reviewing and amending transcripts a simple process.
Timecodes and speaker names are also not included when pasting within the Trint Editor.

Export Story files into XML
Story Builder users can now export their rough cut into an Adobe Premiere XML Project, creating a seamless workflow and faster final edit.

New connection protocol for Trint files
If a Trint user loses signal or has connection difficulties while editing a transcript, they will now have the option to try and reconnect to the file or go back to the main dashboard.
This update allows Trint users to still be able to view their transcript while trying to reconnect.

Story Builder drag and drop quotes
Prompted by our user feedback, Trint Story Builder users can now rearrange quotes from different transcripts with a simple drag and drop.
Collaborator icons now on Trint mobile app
Trint mobile app users can now see how many collaborators a transcript has by checking the icons on the app home screen.
Bugs 🐞
- Fixed an error where some Trint users reported the mobile app did not show the transcription language and file location when uploading a file.

Team invites for enterprise users
When a Trint user is invited to a team within the same organization, they can now accept the invite through the web app instead of contacting Trint’s support team.
Trint support moves to a new home
The Trint help center now has a new home where you can find every support article, guide and release note. Just go to https://info.trint.com/knowledge.

Trint Player feature disabled
From 22/06/23, Trint users will no longer be able to create new Trint Players. This is part of our ongoing effort to improve the Trint web app and remove features that have low usage – helping us streamline our platform and increase the overall experience for all Trint users.

- Fixed a bug where some Trint mobile app users were not receiving push notifications for file uploads and transcriptions.

There’s now more than one way to join Trint. New Trint users can purchase a plan and subscribe on desktop by visiting trint.com or on mobile via the Google Play and App Stores.

Two ways to add quotes to Story Builder
To help improve our user journey, Trint users can now add selections from a transcript directly into a Story Builder file via the “Add to Story” pop-up.
Alternatively, users can search for a transcript within Story Builder and easily add selections or highlights using the new “Add to Story” button.
Bugs 🐞
- Fixed an error where some Trint users were unable to see the most recently edited file on their app home screen, sometimes resulting in showing an empty screen.
- Fixed a bug where the Trint mobile app became unresponsive to users while logged in. If this occurs, users will now be asked to sign in again to reboot the app and ensure all features are accessible.
