Trint’s AI Assistant is an innovative new way to interrogate your transcripts and translated files to extract rich insights such as key topics, sentiments and trends – so you can use them to craft your story.
Note: This feature is BETA and is subject to change as we evolve its capabilities.
This support guide will cover:
What are the key features?
- Use suggested prompts to help you get answers to things like ‘Extract interesting quotes’
- Pull out insights during Live and real-time events or after the fact with pre-uploaded content
- Ask questions and get answers in any language, regardless of the original transcript or translation file language
- Have a conversation - ask follow up questions and refine your insights
- Regenerate a new answer to your question
- Quickly copy a response to paste in other files or applications
- Provide ‘good’ or ‘bad’ response feedback for Trint product teams to understand how to improve the experience
Currently, chats are not persistent so if you navigate away from the chat it will be cleared.
How to use Trint’s AI Assistant
Start by opening a transcript and you will see Trint’s AI Assistant appear in a panel to the right. If you don’t, you can click the top “stars” button to open this panel.
Next, you simply ask a question about your transcript, or use one of the suggestions above the text box.
Trint’s AI Assistant will then give you an answer based on your question or prompt. You can then ask a follow-up question and have a back and forth conversation until you have the insights or key facts you are looking for.
You’ll also see a few options below the last response from Trint’s AI Assistant:
- You can copy the response to your clipboard to utilise somewhere else
- Share positive or negative feedback on the response to help our team improve Trint’s AI for next time
- If you’re not happy and want Trint to try again, click regenerate to get a different response to the same question/prompt
What are useful prompts to get started with?
Here are some tips to ensure that you’re getting the most out of your interactions with the AI Assistant.
You can be as general or specific as you like - try to ask about certain topics or people mentioned in the transcript and see what it finds ✨
- Identify and elaborate on the main topics discussed in this transcript
- Provide a summary highlighting the key points and takeaways from this transcript
- Extract the main points about Subject X
- What are the key takeaways mentioned by Speaker A?
- Identify some interesting quotes that I can use as a headline and tell me why they are interesting
- Is Subject B discussed in the transcript?
- Extract the main points about Subject Y in Spanish
Reminder: AI Assistant responses may contain mistakes so use your own judgement and critical thinking when evaluating the information it provides.
What data does Trint’s AI Assistant have access to?
- As a user, you will only be able to ask questions about files that your user has valid access to.
- The content of files will only ever be securely and temporarily accessed at the point you ask a question relating to a file, until a response is generated.
