How to automate your workflows with Zapier and Trint
Updated over a week ago
Zapier lets you connect Trint to 1,000+ other web services that can help automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise wouldn't be possible. This guide will show you how to integrate Trint with Zapier.
This support guide will cover:
How Zapier works with Trint
Zapier creates automated connections between apps like Trint called Zaps, which can be set up in minutes with no coding. Each Zap has one app set as the Trigger. This is where information comes from and, when certain Actions are made, cause that data to get sent automatically to other apps.
For example, this could be uploading files to Google Drive are automatically uploaded to Trint, or for a Slack channel message to be sent out when a Trint transcription is ready. If you need inspiration, check out some popular pre-made Zaps.
Connecting your Trint and Zapier accounts
-
Log in to your Zapier account or create a new account.
-
Navigate to "Connected Accounts" from the top menu bar.
-
Now click on "Connect new account" and search for "Trint"
-
Use your Trint API key to connect your Trint account to Zapier.
Once that's done you can start creating your automations, either using a pre-made Zap or creating your own with the Zap Editor. Creating a Zap requires no coding knowledge and you'll be walked step-by-step through the setup.
If Zapier isn't pushing files to Trint
The Zapier trigger is based on the modified date of the file, rather than the upload date. If you re-upload the same file with same modified date, Zapier will not trigger.
To get around this, you’ll need to change the modified date - you can either rename the file or create a copy of file.
